For the proprietors of this subtropical rural cottage, it was important that the remodel and augmentation of their home have a feeling of daintiness that mirrors its beachside area, only south of Byron Bay in northern New South Wales. "It's about spaces that can switch back and forth among inside and outside with no problem." This was particularly critical in the ground-floor powder room and restroom. Both possess the current house and are inside, with no outer dividers, which means conceding a lot of common light and ventilation was a test. The planners settled it by introducing operable lookout windows in the two zones. "On the off chance that we were structuring without any preparation, we'd attempt to maintain a strategic distance from this circumstance.
